Overcoming the Freezing Bottleneck: Eliminating Free-Water Dependence
The traditional iron powder reduction reaction relies heavily on free liquid water as a starting medium. However, in cold-chain environments below 10°C, trace moisture inside packaging easily condenses or freezes. The lack of liquid water prevents proper electron transfer on iron surfaces, stalling the deoxidation process. Remaining oxygen inside the package then rapidly reacts with the meat—converting myoglobin into metmyoglobin (causing meat to turn dark or green) and accelerating fat oxidation.
Tianhua’s R&D team completely bypassed this constraint through catalytic restructuring and micro-reaction channel optimization:
Low-Moisture Trigger Mechanism: The new formula drastically reduces the iron reduction reaction's reliance on free liquid water by redesigning the reaction pathway on particle surfaces.
Gaseous Moisture Utilization: Even under sub-10°C or freezing conditions, the deoxidizer rapidly adsorbs trace gaseous water molecules to instantly kickstart the oxygen scavenging process.
Rapid Oxygen Scavenging: Halting Greening and Rancidity at the Source
Thanks to its enhanced low-temperature reactivity, Tianhua's optimized deoxidizer triggers an immediate, high-efficiency oxygen drawdown during the early stages of cold transport, quickly bringing internal oxygen levels below 0.1%.
By establishing this ultra-low oxygen micro-environment, Tianhua’s solution stops the formation of metmyoglobin at the source, effectively preventing meat greening and dullness.
